Frequently Asked Questions

Quick, clear answers to the most common questions about the visa application process.

A visa is an official permit issued by a country's foreign representative offices or border authorities, placed on the passport of a foreign national planning to travel there, indicating that the person may proceed to the border and apply for entry. A visa does not guarantee entry into that country — the final decision belongs to the border authorities.

Visas are issued by the embassy, consulate general, or consulate of the destination country, and in some cases by honorary consulates. Some countries also offer an electronic visa (e-Visa) or visa-on-arrival. We clarify together which route applies to you before you apply.

As a general rule, the application should be made in person. Your passport should be undamaged and valid for at least 6 months (1 year for some countries) from your intended return date. It is critical that your documents are complete and accurate, and that you give consistent answers if there is an interview. Applying with falsified or fake documents is a criminal offense.

If you apply directly, all document collection, consistency checking, and appointment tracking is on you. With consultancy, we manage most of these processes — especially for document-sensitive countries like Algeria, Iraq and China, this makes a meaningful difference in reducing rejection risk.

No. The consulate/application center fee and the Visa Turizm consultancy fee are separate line items. At the start of your application we give you a clear breakdown of the total cost (fee + service charge + any insurance/reservation costs).

No consultancy firm can guarantee approval, and neither can we — a visa is a matter of national sovereignty and the final decision belongs to the relevant country. In case of rejection, where possible we evaluate the appeal process together and strengthen your file for a new application.

No. The Pre-Application Form is only an information request — it requires no payment or commitment. After you fill it out, our team will call you to explain the process and pricing; the decision is entirely yours.
